MY STORY

My relationship with music began when I was six years old and my mother took me to my first piano lesson. I am now 20 years old and since that day have collected seven years of classical piano skills and a similar amount of contemporary songwriting experience. I have not had any formal lessons or training with regards to songwriting, but I've still composed lyrics and basic chord progressions for over twenty-five songs in approximately seven years.
Although I made quite a bit of progress on my own, my biggest milestones in my journey with music occurred during my freshman year of college, where I learned the importance of collaboration. First, I met two other college students who were also budding young artists and worked with them to release my first single on Spotify. I then started using the app Vampr to collaborate with producers and there met the engineer who produced, mixed and mastered two of the twenty-some songs I've written so far. 
Even though it's been almost thirteen years since I first touched a piano and longer than that since I started dreaming of becoming a singer, my journey as an artist has still only begun. In the near future I hope to sign with a record label to release an EP, so my songs can reach more ears and, hopefully, hearts.
